Puchuncaví Grant Fund Opens Applications for its Tenth Edition

The AES Chile Foundation launched the call for applications for the tenth edition of the Puchuncaví Grant Fund on Monday, March 4, 2024. The deadline for submissions is 2:00 p.m. on April 5, 2024, according to the guidelines approved by its local council.

In this tenth edition, the grant fund, totaling 4,711 UF, will finance projects in the following areas: Environmental conservation; Social development and initiatives fostering culture and protecting heritage in the municipality; Support for initiatives promoting healthy living and sports in various disciplines; Energy and water efficiency; Community/neighbourhood security; and Entrepreneurship and development of productive or service activities generating local employment, tourism, and enhancing the municipality of Puchuncaví.

Application guidelines and submission forms can be obtained from the AES Chile Foundation office located at José Ramón Pérez 135, 2nd floor, Puchuncaví, or downloaded from the website: https://www.fundacionaesgener.cl/documentos/.

From March 12 to March 19, in-person training workshops for social project development will be held. The schedule is as follows:

March 12 in Puchuncaví – Location: Casa de Cultura Puchuncaví, 16:45 hours.

March 13 in La Laguna - La Laguna Neighborhood Association Headquarters, 16:45 hours.

March 14 in Horcón, Location to be confirmed, 16:45 hours.

March 15 in Las Ventanas, Location: Municipal Delegation, 16:45 hours.

March 19 in Puchuncaví, Location: Casa de la Cultura Puchuncaví, 16:45 hours.

Additionally, at the AES Chile Foundation office in Puchuncaví, there will be in-person advisory sessions for project development from Tuesday, March 5, to Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Social organizations with valid legal status and current management, in accordance with Law 19,418, which have been in existence for a minimum of 6 months at the time of application and have a registered address in Puchuncaví, are eligible to submit projects.

Paola Olivares, Director of the AES Chile Foundation, urged social organizations in the municipality to apply, stating, "This is an excellent opportunity to realize the dreams and aspirations you have. Take advantage of the training available to you and submit projects that will benefit all members."

Projects awarded funding from the Grant Fund will be announced in May by the AES Chile Foundation, which administers the Grant Fund.

The local council is composed of the Mayor of the Municipality of Puchuncaví, a councilor from Puchuncaví, the Director of Community Development of the Municipality of Puchuncaví, the Director of the Municipal Planning Secretariat, the Municipal Works Director, the Municipal Secretary, Vice President of Development at AES Chile, Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at AES Chile, the Environmental Manager of AES Chile, the Manager of the Costa Complex at AES Chile, the Communications Manager at AES Chile, and the Communications and Community Management Chief of the Ventanas Complex at AES Chile.
