Contestable Funds

Through Competitive bid Funds that we run in the communes of Huasco, Puchuncaví and San José de Maipo we support the projects of social organizations and entrepreneurs to promote local development.

The AES Gener Puchuncaví competitive Fund is carried out in conjunction with the Municipality of Puchuncaví. The project started in 2014 and will run for 10 years. The Fund finances projects in the areas of: community-use infrastructure; social development and initiatives that promote tourism and culture in the commune; promotion or development of productive or service activities that can promote local employment; and initiatives to promote healthy living.

The San José de Maipo Competitive Fund is part of the Social Collaboration Agreement between Alto Maipo, the Municipality of San José de Maipo and the Communal Union of Neighbors' Boards. It has been developed since 2012 and will run for 30 years. It finances projects of social organizations and entrepreneurs in various areas of development: Education and training; Social, Tourism, Cultural and Infrastructure Development for Community use; Support for sport in its various disciplines; Promotion and Development of Productive Activities or Services that empower the commune: in the areas for which it has special strength. Whit this Fund, local entrepreneurs have been able to create and growth their businesses.

The Huasco Competitive Fund has been implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Huasco since 2018. Social organizations and local entrepreneurs of the commune, postulate their projects within the fields: Education and training; Social development, tourism, culture and infrastructure for community use; Support for sport in its various disciplines; Promotion and development of productive activities or services that enhance Huasco in the areas for which it has special strengths.
