Alfredo del Carril currently serves as the Legal Vice-President of AES Andes. Previously, he held the position of Associate General Counsel at the AES Corporation headquarters. He also occupied various roles within the Group, including servicing the Global Construction and Strategic Procurement Group, General Manager of Alto Maipo SpA and board member at several group companies.

Before joining AES, Alfredo served as General Counsel and led the Gas & Power Division and Business Development Unit at ENAP, Chile's state-owned oil and gas company; he was Legal Director for South America at Vestas Wind Systems, wind turbine manufacturer and O&M service provider; and was a Senior Legal Advisor at Skanska, a Swedish construction company.

Alfredo earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Universidad Austral in Argentina, which included a foreign exchange program at Università di Roma II – Tor Vergata in Italy. He also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Virginia in the USA.
