AES CHILE and OMIL of Puchuncaví Invite you to Apply for the Digital Literacy Course

  • The training will allow its participants to develop new work skills in the management of mobile devices, the use of the Internet, the management of digital entrepreneurship, and to strengthen their digital skills, among other tools.

Applications to participate in the Digital Literacy Course, promoted by AES Chile and the Municipal Labor Intermediation Office (OMIL) of Puchuncaví, are now open.

There are 51 places available for people over 18 years old who want to gain knowledge and develop new work skills in the management of mobile devices, the use of the Internet, the management of digital entrepreneurship and to strengthen their digital skills in job search and entrepreneurship promotion.

The course lasts 180 hours and will be given in flexible and self-learning mode, that is, it is integrated into a tablet that will be delivered to each participant to so that they can complete the course at a time that works best for them.

In addition to having a stable Internet connection, the requirements to complete the course include, but are not limited to, not having knowledge of digital literacy and belonging to 80% of the most vulnerable population according to the Social Household Register or a similar agency replacing it. In addition, people who are unemployed or looking for a job for the first time should not have any available social security contributions at the time of application.

It should be noted that there will be a preferential selection: 60% should be women who applied for the program and up to 40% should be people of the most vulnerable population, according to the Social Household Register.

Applications will be open until all available vacancies are filled. Moreover, the documents required include a copy of the Social Households Register or Unemployment Certificate and a copy of both sides of the identity card.
